About
Megane is a teenage activist and youth leader, with a very artistic side. Her background in dance, acting, modelling and diverses clubs and socials implications inform of her passionate but well-thought approach on the world and social medias.
Meggie is fueled by her passion for understanding the nuances of cultural diversities, ecologic development, ethics and human rights. She considers herself a ‘forever student,’ eager to both build on her love for art and stay in tune with the latest facts and changes in the world through continued coursework, research and personal development.
Her hunger for knowledge and determination to turn words into action has contributed to her goal of impacting the world in a meaningful positive way. Meggie has built a loyal following on social media, by simply being true to herself and encouraging other to love themselves, to be kind to others and to protect our beautiful planet.
Being a Medical First Responder, an alumni of the RCMP's National Youth Advisory Committee, a past Air Cadet and Parlement des Jeunes (Youth Parliament) participant, a member of Amnesty International and Random Acts, as well as having experience as a student representative, has shaped Meggie's values, goals and view of society tremendously.
The thing that she is most proud of as of right now is her incredible opportunity as the Chair of Children First Canada's Youth Advisory Council. This is a group of young leaders from across Canada that were brought together to make the country the best place in the world for children to grow up. She also holds an advisory position on the same organization's board of directors.
Meggie believes working toward one's dream and always believing in oneself is key to happiness, a tenet she lives out through her everyday life.
Meggie is currently developing as a freelance activist, influencer and artist and is always interested in a challenge or great collaboration. Reach out to [email protected] to connect for artistic projects and [email protected] for anything else.
